Winterset, Iowa Where Else?
So if you have to go to Iowa to paint something in the DECEMBER Paint Off, why not WINTERSET. Sounds very Holiday like indeed. I don't know if that's what Carol Schiff had in mind when she found this little white house or if it's a coincidence, but I'm going with it!

Digital painting is ok? I understand the rules state "all mediums" but I don't trust the rules
ANY medium, even digital if your reference is from Google Street View, any painting medium is fine. Thanks for asking. Kay

Who am I to tell anyone what their art is ;) That being said, if someone cuts and pastes, the Voters and Judges will share their opinions I suppose. If one is actually Painting digitally . . well . . I've tried to paint with digital tools, it's not easy. I'm intrigued by it all.
Well THAT (your submission) is just wonderful. I like it a lot. I approved it for the contest, and I'll post it to the blog sometime tomorrow, when I get a chance to share it properly. Thanks. Kay
